Code & Reviews 39

Work with repositories, builds, changes, pull requests, issues, and reviews.

CoW copyStart a thread with your installed dependencies, build caches, and uncommitted changes already in place. Each thread gets an independent checkout that shares disk blocks until files change, using Btrfs snapshots or reflink copies. Select Btrfs Cow in the environment picker; the plugin checks filesystem support on the chosen machine. Requires Linux, Git, GNU cp with reflink support, and a compatible filesystem such as Btrfs or XFS; snapshot mode also needs the btrfs command.Code & ReviewsSawyer Hood3
Design directorCatch a screen that looks generic before you call the work done, and keep every design score on record. A critic scores each screenshot without seeing the code, so the agent that built the screen is not the one grading it. Three tiers run from a single-call spot check after any UI change to a full redesign with seeded directions and critic rounds. Critic runs spend tokens on your own provider account, at a cost that depends on the model you pick, and the screenshot scripts need Chrome or Chromium and Node 18 or newer.Code & ReviewsJason PruntyNew
Diff ExplorerReview every changed file in one scroll, and ⌘-click any symbol to read its definition without leaving the diff. Press Ctrl+- to step back, so you can follow a call several levels deep and return to the hunk you were reading. Switch between uncommitted changes and all changes since the base branch. Open it with ⌘⇧D or the button in the thread header. Go to definition needs the language server on your PATH: gopls, rust-analyzer, pyright, clangd, or sourcekit-lsp; TypeScript downloads typescript-language-server through npx on first use.Code & ReviewsArash OutadiNew
Diff ViewedUse a Viewed checkbox on each file to keep track of what you've read in a long diff, synced with GitHub on the thread's pull request. Checking a file collapses and dims it, and the toolbar counts how far you have got, such as 3/6 viewed. A mark clears itself when the file's diff changes, so a rebase or a new hunk puts the file back in front of you. An Only unviewed filter hides the files you have read. Requires bb 0.41 or later, and GitHub sync needs the gh CLI signed in.Code & ReviewsDaniel Bachhuber18
Diff DadSee only the pull requests that ask for you by name, and read each one as a narrated review instead of a raw diff. The sidebar page lists your direct review requests with criticality tags, approvals, verdict, and age, sorted the way Diff Dad's own queue is, with a repo filter. An All tab embeds Diff Dad's command center, and a thread panel action opens the thread's own pull request review. Agents get a diffdad_review tool that returns a PR's verdict, TL;DR, and concerns as text. Requires Diff Dad's daemon running locally with its own GitHub token and AI provider, and the GitHub CLI logged in.Code & ReviewsJonas BrusmanNew
GitHub App AuthRun your bb agents as a GitHub App, so pull requests and commits open under the app's name and you can review them on GitHub. Each agent turn gets a short-lived installation token as GH_TOKEN and GITHUB_TOKEN, so gh and git act as the app. Commits use the app's bot identity and pushes go over the token. Enable only the projects you choose, with the scopes you grant the app, and personal projects stay yours. Needs a GitHub App you create and the gh CLI on the machines that run threads.Code & ReviewsgrrowlNew
GitHub BoardSee your GitHub issues, pull requests and discussions on one board, and hand any of them to an agent thread. Four columns cover what you wrote, what is open on repositories you own and what is assigned to you, and an issue that a pull request closes folds into that pull request's card. Pull request cards show CI checks and branch status, with an Update branch button wherever you can push. A detail panel shows the body, comments and images, and labels are added or removed from a right-click menu. Send to chat opens bb's new-thread composer on a card, with a prompt you set per column and per project, in the bb project that has the repository checked out. Add to chat puts the same prompt, the card's column template with the chat's project override, at the end of a chat's draft without sending it, from a menu of the chats on screen and your recent threads. Requires bb 0.46 or later, and the GitHub CLI (gh) installed and signed in on the machine running the bb server.Code & ReviewsGustavo AmbrozioNew
Matt Pocock skills for bbGives your agents Matt Pocock's engineering and productivity skills as slash commands, from test-first development to issue triage. Choose which skills each project gets, or turn them on only in the projects you pick; Matt's 6 experimental skills stay off until you opt in. A skill you already have keeps its name, and you can keep both, with Matt's as matt-pocock-<name>. Turning off a skill that another one needs asks first and names what else changes. New releases follow mattpocock/skills daily; some skills use Git or GitHub CLI, and no account is needed.Code & ReviewsErik MacKinnonNew
pstackPuts 47 pstack engineering skills in every bb thread, with one setup step to choose the models they delegate to. Run /setup-pstack once and it reads this host's model list, then asks which model each pstack role should use. After that, /poteto-mode loads one of 23 playbooks and runs the other skills its steps need: reviews that put a second model on the change, tests, blast-radius checks, and prose cleanup. Every skill has its own switch, and none reach the model prompt until you invoke them. Needs bb 0.43 or newer, the bb CLI for skills that fan out to workers, and MCP servers or a webhook endpoint for the few skills that ask for them.Code & ReviewsWYEZNew
RewindUndo an agent's file changes turn by turn, and let the conversation go back with them. Checkpoints the workspace before each message and after each turn, on every provider, with no setup. Preview a restore as a per-file diff before it runs, and undo it afterwards. Restore the files and edit your message in one step, or fork from any message into a worktree whose files are as they were then. Flags turns that ran git push, a deploy, or other effects a restore cannot undo. Needs git on the thread's machine; the workspace itself does not have to be a git repository.Code & ReviewsMacHatter1New
WorkspacesRun one agent thread across several repositories, each in its own isolated Git worktree. Group existing BB projects into a reusable workspace, then select only the repositories a task needs and start a thread rooted at all of them. Every checkout branches from its repository's own default branch, and your source clones are never pulled, checked out, or stashed. The thread's Repositories panel reports changed files and commits ahead for each checkout, and can enroll another project mid-session. Removing worktrees requires an archived session with every checkout clean and still on its recorded branch, and generated branches are never deleted. Uses local Git and BB's public plugin APIs, with no account, token, or external service.Code & ReviewswishcreatorNew
