Hands-Free

Speak to a BB thread on your iPhone and hear the reply aloud.

How it works

Open Hands-Free, choose a thread, and tap the microphone to dictate. Tap again to send. When the agent finishes, Hands-Free reads its reply while the page stays open. You can open Thread activity to see what's happening.

Before you use it

Requires BB 0.43 or newer, microphone access, and a configured voice-transcription service. It works while BB is open and your phone is unlocked. Dictation is sent immediately without a chance to review it, so don't use it for secrets or risky instructions. If the microphone is unavailable, you can use keyboard dictation. Spoken replies use your device voice, or the optional separately installed Read Aloud plugin. Audio or speech may go through your configured transcription, browser, or voice provider.
