Thread Columns

Open a parent thread beside the subthreads that need your attention. Read and reply through BB's own chat and composer in each column.

What you get

• Descendants at every depth, with paths and depth stripes.
• Waiting, failed and unread-result marks, including collapsed descendants.
• Up to eight descendant columns by default, with a configurable limit and +N more for overflow.
• Model and reasoning-effort badges in the sidebar; hover for the full names.
• New child thread in the thread actions menu, preserving its parent, project and environment.

How it works

Waiting threads take priority. Otherwise, only idle failed threads or unread results open as columns. Working threads stay out. Only this thread returns to the plain view. Automatic columns stay off on phone-width windows.

A result is seen after you click into its column and leave it. BB's native read tracking also runs inside embedded chats. The plugin keeps its own local result/seen timestamps; results from before installation are unknown.

Requirements

BB 0.47.1 or later with the standard sidebar. Uses experimental APIs and internal sidebar markup, which may change with BB updates. No extra account or service is required. True Colors is optional; standalone badges show model and effort in gray text. Running agents uses your configured BB providers and their normal costs. No telemetry is added.
