Plain Paste
Pastes only the text of the clipboard into the message box with ⇧⌘V, never its images or attachments. The text replaces any selection and keeps its line breaks. If the clipboard holds no text, nothing is pasted and a notice says why. Works in the message box only, in bb Desktop on macOS. Requires bb 0.46+ and Plugin SDK 0.6.49+.
Overview
View sourceSome apps put an image on the clipboard next to the text they copy. Paste with ⌘V and bb attaches that image to your message. Press ⇧⌘V instead and only the text is inserted.
The text goes in at the caret and replaces any selection, and multi-line text keeps its line breaks. The command shows up in the command palette as "Paste as plain text" and in Settings → Keyboard, where you can change the shortcut. ⌘V behaves as before.
If the clipboard holds no text, or cannot be read, nothing is pasted and a short notice explains why.
Works in the message box only, in bb Desktop on macOS, and needs bb 0.46 or later.
