Inbox Sidebar
Keep your thread inbox ordered and bring related work together. Nest child threads beneath their parents and scan Git, PR, and provider details on each card. Snooze, settle, or bulk-archive threads with keyboard and touch controls. Filter by project and let an optional inactivity shelf collect quiet work.
Overview
View sourceKeep your place
Arrange pinned and inbox threads with drag and drop or Alt+Up / Alt+Down. Your order persists, so status changes do not shuffle the list.
Follow parent and child threads
Expand children beneath their parent and see descendant activity reflected on the parent card. Thread-header controls take you between related threads. Opening or searching for a child expands its parent automatically.
Triage without losing work
- Snooze a thread for 30 minutes, 2 hours, 1 day, or 1 week.
- Settle quiet threads into a collapsed shelf without archiving them.
- Press
Ctrl+Alt+Sto settle the open thread, including while typing in the chat composer. On Mac, useControl+Option+S. - On touch screens, swipe a card left to settle or right to choose a snooze time.
- Select several threads for bulk snooze, settle, or archive actions.
Active work and pending attention, including work in descendants, prevent parking. An optional Inactive shelf collects quiet, unpinned threads after a delay you choose; new activity brings them back.
Read the context on each card
See the project, branch, working-tree state, pull-request number and state, and provider mark alongside the thread status. Git indicators distinguish clean, untracked, uncommitted, and unmerged work. Pull-request indicators distinguish draft, open, merged, and closed states.
Filter by project, search with BB's sidebar search, and rename threads inline.
