Waiting On You

Get it for macOS

Shows which agent threads wait on your answer or failed, pinned above your thread list, so none of them sit unnoticed. Open one with a click, ⇧⌘J for the next, or ⌥⌘1–9 by its row; a thread leaves the block once you open it. Each question shows when it was asked, and counters in the title track waiting, failed, finished, and working threads. Pick a style, or tune markers, colors, row layout, and row limits on a settings page with a live preview, then move the setup between machines as JSON. Runs on your bb server only, with no account, API key, or outside service.

What you get

  • A block above your thread list. It lists every thread where an agent asked a question or wants an approval, then every thread that failed while you were elsewhere. It sits above whichever thread list you use and leaves that list as it is.
  • The right time. A question shows when it was asked, not when the thread last changed.
  • Counters in the title. Counts for waiting, failed, finished-unseen, and working threads, each switched on or off on its own. A counter at zero can hide.
  • Keys. ⇧⌘J opens the next thread that needs you, and you can rebind it in bb's keyboard settings. Hold ⌥⌘ and press 1–9 to open a row by its number. Hold ⌘ to see which keys go where.
  • Your look. Pick a style, then tune each part with quick picks or in full: markers, colors and icons per kind of thread, one- or two-line rows, time format, alignment, row limit with "+N more", folding, and what shows when nothing needs you.

How it works

The block reads bb's own live thread data in the app, so it updates as threads change. A thread leaves the block once you open it, or once its question is answered. Settings changes wait for Save, with a live preview on the settings page, and reach every open bb window.

Export your settings as JSON from the settings page, or with bb waiting-on-you export, and import them on another machine.

Requirements

Nothing beyond bb. The plugin needs no account, API key, or external service, and sends no data anywhere.
