Your work, arranged by attention

Pinned and focused work stays near the center. A coral ring marks focus and a green bar marks a running agent. Unread results have a filled blue Ready to read badge, with a blue edge and light tint on task and session cards. They rank below focus, input requests and failures, and ahead of routine review queues. Recent results stay near the center alongside running agents. Projects keep neutral fills, with an unread border and counts pointing to their tasks. Waiting for you and Ready to read have separate filters; reading a result leaves its task's review state intact.

Activity in the last 24 hours also brings work closer to the center. Age labels show when it was last active; that influence fades over time. Focus, input requests and failures keep priority.

Open work where it sits

Collapsed Overview fits the available window, showing fewer whole cards on smaller screens. Central cards use their extra room for session excerpts and task context. Show all opens the complete list; expanded details and chat can scroll.

Click an area, task or session to expand it in place. Nearby cards make room while the arrangement stays stable. Read formatted response previews with tables and code, follow attached sessions, or open the full task or chat in BB. Long previews disclose when they are shortened; wide content scrolls within the preview. Search and filters help you reach work beyond the overview. Zoom out for more work and fewer details, or zoom in around an item. Reset returns to 100%.

Start and organize

Start a session with BB's native composer, or use Chat here to continue an existing session inside the map. The chat uses that session's permissions and provider controls. Sessions started from a task attach to that task. Create projects and backlog tasks, edit project details, connect existing sessions through tasks, and hide or restore areas. Project and task management commands are also available to agents through bb work-map.

Leave a next step

Pause a task, send it to your review queue, record a review dependency on someone else, or mark it done. Archive the viewed session when finished. Settled today keeps recent actions with Undo. Handoffs use a structured description format: a STATE summary, NEXT ACTION, lifecycle and native status, reviewer, waiting dependency, follow-up date and status reason, followed by the preserved body and history. Recording an external review does not send a message.

Requirements and data

Requires BB 0.43 or later and its built-in Tasks plugin. Sessions use the provider and account selected in BB, with that provider's usual costs and data handling. Work Map adds no external service or telemetry. It reads tasks, session activity and response previews from your BB instance, and stores preferences and recovery records there. Opening a successful response marks that displayed result read. Removing inherited task focus can unpin its attached sessions.
