Thread Switcher
Jump between your recent threads from the keyboard and see at a glance which one needs you. Hold Control and press Tab to step through a row of cards, each with the latest messages of that chat, its project, branch and status; let go to open the selected thread. A thread waiting for your answer shows the question it asked, and threads that need input or failed come first. A thread with subthreads counts how many are still running. The hotkey, the number of cards and the order are settings; no account or external service.
Overview
View sourceHold the hotkey and a row of cards opens over bb, one for each thread you opened last. Let go, and you are in the selected thread.
What you get
- A card for each recent thread: the latest messages of the chat, its title, project, branch, time since the last activity and a status dot (needs input, failed, working, done).
- A thread waiting for your answer gets an amber outline, and its card shows the question or approval it is waiting on.
- A thread with subthreads or subagents shows how many there are and how many are still running.
- Threads that need you, those waiting for input and then failed ones, come right after the current thread.
How to use it
- Hold Control and press Tab to open the switcher. Press Tab again to move on, Shift+Tab to go back; the arrow keys work too.
- Let go of Control to open the selected thread. Enter does the same, Esc closes without switching, and a click opens any card.
- A quick Control+Tab tap jumps back to the previous thread.
Settings
- Hotkey: Control+Tab by default. Type a combination or record it by pressing the keys. It needs Control, Option or Command, because the switcher stays open while you hold that key.
- Threads shown: 2 to 20 cards, 6 by default.
- Threads that need you first: on by default; turn it off to order cards by recency only.
Privacy
The plugin reads your threads through bb and keeps the order of recently opened threads in the browser's local storage. Nothing is sent anywhere.
