Add emojis to the composer. Type : to open the picker and replace the colon with your choice. Search by name, keyword, or shortcode, browse eight categories, and return to recent choices with your preferred skin tone. Uses system-rendered emojis and works offline without another account or service.

Pick where you type

Type : in the composer, then choose an emoji. It replaces the colon and keeps the rest of your message. Dismiss the picker to keep the colon as punctuation; choosing an emoji never sends the message.

On desktop, the picker opens above the colon, or below when space is tight. On mobile, it opens in a drawer.

Find your emoji

Search names, keywords, shortcodes, or an emoji, or browse eight categories. Use arrow keys and Enter to select. Your browser remembers your skin tone and last 24 choices.

System emojis, offline

The picker displays Unicode emojis using your operating system's emoji font. Appearance and supported emojis vary by system. The emoji dataset is bundled; no account or external service is needed, and searches stay on your device.
