Thread Management 4

Find, identify, organize, or archive threads.

CascadeShows active BB threads in a tiled layout with horizontal columns and vertical groups.

Quick ChatAsk a question in a floating chat window without adding a thread to your sidebar. Open it with Mod+Shift+K, the command palette, or the sidebar chat icon, and drag it to a convenient corner. Return to recent chats or choose Open as thread when a conversation becomes project work. Uses your configured BB agent provider and its account; provider usage charges or subscription limits still apply.

Quick ComposeStart a thread from a floating composer without leaving the page you’re on. Open it with Mod+Shift+L, or hand off the current thread with Mod+Shift+H; both shortcuts can be rebound in Settings → Keyboard. Keep your draft and selections when you dismiss it, then start the thread in the background when you’re ready. Requires BB 0.42+ and uses your configured agent provider and account.

Agents & Providers 2

Add, choose, configure, route, or coordinate who runs a thread.

Magic ComposeChoose where a new thread runs as you type your prompt. Let Jev select the project, machine, model, reasoning level, and environment, then review or override each choice before sending. Tune its choices with your instructions and try routing a prompt from settings. Requires BB 0.43+ and a Vercel AI Gateway or OpenRouter API key; prompts, routing instructions, project context, and machine information are sent to TypeSafe through your gateway, with usage charges.

OpenRouter InferenceChoose the OpenRouter model that writes your thread titles and commit messages. Search models by name or ID, compare token prices and context sizes, and test a sample title before switching. Change the selected model from settings whenever you want. Requires an OpenRouter API key; prompts, thread text, and diffs go to OpenRouter and the selected model provider, with charges billed to your account.

Themes & Appearance 4

Personalize how bb looks and feels.

Compact NavMake more room for threads with compact, borderless sidebar icons. Keep your saved order and hidden destinations, with controls to rearrange or show them. Hover labels and selected states keep navigation recognizable. Requires BB 0.42+ and Plugin SDK 0.4.53+, with no extra service or account.

Miku CompanionKeep Hatsune Miku beside you while you work, with a roaming pixel-art companion that reacts to activity across BB. Drag her out of the way, keep her in place, or hide her from the command palette. Enable agent-powered comments using a configured BB provider and its account or usage allowance. Optional synthesized voice runs locally and requires FFmpeg with Flite and Rubber Band on the BB server.

Nav RailMake more room for threads with a vertical strip of sidebar icons. Keep your saved navigation order and hidden destinations, with controls to rearrange them or open panels in a split. Start a new thread from the sidebar header, and use hover labels, selected states, and badges to find your way. Requires BB 0.42+ and Plugin SDK 0.5.15+, with no extra service, account, or API key.

Code & Reviews 2

Work with repositories, builds, changes, pull requests, issues, and reviews.

CoW copyStart a thread with your installed dependencies, build caches, and uncommitted changes already in place. Each thread gets an independent checkout that shares disk blocks until files change, using Btrfs snapshots or reflink copies. Select Btrfs Cow in the environment picker; the plugin checks filesystem support on the chosen machine. Requires Linux, Git, GNU cp with reflink support, and a compatible filesystem such as Btrfs or XFS; snapshot mode also needs the btrfs command.

SlopCopAutomated PR review rules that dispatch BB agents.
